Surely they can do better than this to stop the oil from pouring out!!! Looks like a patch work job gone horribly wrong. I don’t understand how, with todays technology this is the best that they can do.
Those poor suffering birds and sea creatures…need our help more than ever. This is a living nightmare. I hope and pray that they stop it before August.
The well is damaged deep below the surface and is leaking into the sea floor.. They can’t plug the whole on the top because it will destroy the tube down below making stopping it in the long run impossible. This is a VERY BIG Problem.
That’s purely horrible. BP needs to do better than dish soap and mud to stop the oil spill. We shouldn’t need this to happen for us to see the truth: we need to change energy sources! Those poor birds, and the marine life. The whole food chain is going to go out of whack, and so many species will become extinct. I hope BP is happy.
Why can’t they put something around it like duck tape. I know duck tape isn’t going to stop this but there must be something wide enough they could wrap around the vents until they can get some thing else down there. I just can’t believe they haven’t done some thing bigger. Why wait until August. There may not be any thing alive by then.

Why can’t we get a big cork plug and plug it until a better idea comes along?????
This is SO terrible. BP has made so many animals victims of their own mess and it’s not fair!!!!!
