TheSpillSite.com was born out of a motivation to help grow public awareness regarding the effects of irresponsible “Big Oil” as a result of the Deepwater Horizon rig collapse and onset of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. We understand oil is a necessity in our world today but look forward to a future where we as human beings are able to harness the power of a cleaner, safer, non-destructive power source.
If you are interested in working with us in any capacity, please forward your resume and cover letter to thespillsite@gmail.com.

just a question. I work in a factory and we all have shirts that we would be willing to part with, would these be useful to help with wildlife clean up? let me know if are and I will see what we can do. if not maybe we can do a hand towel drive. Our factory has almost a thousand employees and being that we make car parts it would be great if we could help.
looking forward to your reply

Nicole,
Thank you so much for your generous offer to help in the ongoing plight of the wildlife in the Gulf. We have forwarded your request to seven organizations currently working in the Gulf region to save wildlife. Please let us know if you hear back from any. Also, post to as many other sites as you can. This will help spread the word. Thank you for your concern, humility, and ongoing support…
